Annika Durum (she/they) is a Utah desert-based writer and visual artist whose debut chapbook, Rotting Season (forthcoming), won Quillkeepers Press’ Fall 2026 Poetry Chapbook Competition. Her creative work is inspired the natural world and is optimistically feral, sun-bleached, and lives somewhere between beauty and rot. They can be found in the canyons when they’re not at home.
